John founded and maintains a studio and print shop in the Lincoln Arts Building in Waltham, MA as well as a studio in Harpswell, ME.  John has taught at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Framingham State University, The Art and Innovation Center in Weston, MA, the Washington Art Association in Washington, CT and many other workshops around the country. John works with Master Printers Peter and James Pettengill in Hinsdale, NH, and Susan Oehme at Oehme Graphics in Steamboat Springs, CO.   John serves on several boards of art and educational institutions.

John's work is in numerous private collections and many public collections including: Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston; Husk Restaurants, Charleston, SC, Nashville, TN and Savannah, GA; Spaulding Rehabilitation Center, Boston; Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston; Mt Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, MA; Prezza, Boston; UUA Churches in the Boston area; and many others.  

 

John holds degrees from Syracuse University (BFA), University of Wisconsin-Madison (MA), Babson College (MBA) and Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MFA).
